INTRO

Viji Chandran is now synonymous with the language SANSKRIT . She is a selfless worker and an ardent lover of Sanskrit. Sanskrit was termed as a dead language due to several political turmoils in the country . She has had the courage to delve into a almost dead language and has not just revived it but once again made it very popular and has helped in attaining the place it deserves.

She joined Samskrutha Bharathi an NGO for the promotion of Sanskrit Language in 2009 October.as a humble Karya Karta ( An honorary worker.)

She has conducted in the ten years 2010-2019 shikshan prashikshan (training given to people so that they can teach)
The most popular class of Vijji Bhagini ( A respectful term In sanskrit for addressing her) has been her Ten days spoken Samskrutha Shibiram. She has so far conducted about 115 Shibirams before the pandemic when the class was in a school or a conveniet place. and not online.

However after the pandemic she has alsready conducted 20 online classes and more than 620 persons attended online classes.
In her earlier days she has also conducted Sambhashanam Shibhirams iall over the country viz Jammu Andhra Telangana ,Karnataka, Mumbai and Tamilnadu, to name a few.
She has conducted 23teachers workshops . In addition she has not forgotted the little ones . She has conducted several Balabharathi workshops. (Workshops for little children)
When she joined little did she know that the language would take her to this height. She just wanted to learn a language for diversion in her life. She was attracted to the simple methodology adopted which was very simple and easy and thus began her journey with Samskritam.
It has now become her passion. She even teaches the very basic letters to both adults as well as little ones.

She has been very fotunate to have a very supportive family.

She enjoys teaching reading of the Bhagwat Geeta Too.

Selfless service in promoting Sanskrit. Devoted, sincere, teacher above par. Can teach anyone to speak in Sanskrit with the 10 days class. Amazing sense of humour. Thankful to learn Sanskrit under her Guidance. Certainly deserves this award. I nominate her for the same.

She is a sanskrit teacher of Samskrutha bharathi NGO. Actually she learnt sanskrit in her late 40s only. But her dedication to that language is remarkable. Her aim is that all should learn this holy, spiritual language and speak fluently. She gives self confidence to every one to speak this language. Definitely she should be recognised and awarded for her achievements. She actually held more than 100 spoken sanskrit classes from kashmir to kanyakumari.Who ever attends her class will definitely speak in sanskrit.
