I'm sending it on behalf of my son Adhish.A.N, 11 years old. He started learning kolam/ Rangoli form his grandmother in March.
He is enjoying and excited to put different types of kolam with the guidance from his grandmother, YouTube and his creativity.

The freehand rangoli depicts a small chapter in the story of Andal. Andal grew up as a devotee of Lord Krishna, an avatar of Vishnu, the supreme God. She is believed to have worn the garland before dedicating it to the presiding deity of the temple. Periazhwar (her dad), who later found it, was highly upset and remonstrated her. Lord Vishnu appeared in his dream and asked him to dedicate only the garland worn by Andal to him. This drawing shows Andal wearing the garland and seeing Krishna wearing the garland in the mirror which was witnessed by Periazhwar ( her dad) from a distance
The rangoli size was 6 ft byt 5ft. I attached number of white sheets to make the size 6'by 5', then drew the pictures on it and coloured it appropriately.
