Suzhi/Sikku Kolam
My 3 year old son makes kolams everyday using his magnetic tiles. So I took one of his ideas and decided to make it into a celebratory and colourful sikku kolam for Pongal 2022. I have done four different hexagon kolams and merged them together to mimic his idea.
I live in a fully carpeted apartment, so I used a floor tile with blackboard paper stuck on it. Instead of kola maavu or rangoli powder which could stain carpets, I used liquid chalk in creating kolams.

This is a sikku kolam drawn on New Year 2022. The idea was about how our home itself is a temple, especially in these pandemic times where we cannot visit temples during lockdown.

Here I am sharing an Andal Kolam inspired by Vannam Chitra Kuppusamy. I drew this for Margazhi 1.
I deleted the initial dots picture unfortunately from my phone.

Mana Kolam/Padi Kolam
Here I have recreated a kalyana padi kolam. I live in a fully carpeted apartment, so everyday I use this wooden board (palagai) with blackboard paper stuck on it, and for special occasions I use a floor tile with blackboard paper stuck on it. Instead of kola maavu or rangoli powder which could stain carpets, I use liquid chalk in creating kolams.
