INTRO

My Dasara Gome /Golu Theme is Mysuru - Mysuru Dasara is the Nadahabba (state festival) of the state of Karnataka in India. It is a 10-day festival, starting with nine nights called Navaratri and the last day being Vijayadashami.
I have collected the miniatures of Mysuru Palace, Jaganmohan Palace,Clock Tower,Mini Market Square, University of Mysore and Grand Simhasan of Mysore Wodeyars. I also made Chamundi Hills to depict the geographical and devine part of Mysuru. Mysuru has many version of celebrations I adopted to show case the Royal part of Dasara showcasing the Vijayadashami Procession or VijayaYatra on the 10th day of Navarathi.
Mysuru city Scene 1 -This year I am showcasing Mysore University area with a miniature office model - desi food court with tea stall,coffee, pani puri and corn seller.
Scene 2 - Resedential living and daily routines - Morning rituals of Rangoli, Kole BAsava, Fortune Teller,Dasayya,mini huts
Scene 3 - Mysuru Clock Tower and market around selling grains, cane baskets,bullock carts
Scene 4 - Temple and mini wedding & celebrations of dance and music with State God Chamundi festival
Scene 5 - Mysuru Dasara will have a 100 days of exhibition / big fair with all food, playground , shopping etc
I also showcase the traditional part of Navarathri with Pattada Gombe, Srinivasa Kalyana & Ganesha's gathering.
