Co-founder of Agal Counselling, an IT Professional working in the banking and automobile sector. Involved in many community-related voluntary projects. Agal Counselling was formed during the lockdown in response to the rise in the number of domestic violence victims and deterioration in mental health in the South Asian communities. The day I woke up to hear the murder of two Tamil children in Ilford London, felt 'if not now when' to reach out to the Tamil community, hence gathered a group of professionals who realised the severity of the situation during the lockdown. The non-profit organisation has taken shape within 6 weeks to launch and is serving highly vulnerable individuals in the community.
