The Tamil month of Margazhi is famous for its music uthsavams, Andal’s Thirupavai and early morning kolams. Kolams / rangolis are design markings created on the ground surface with rice powder, limestone powder, brick red powder or even flower petals. Kolams are traditional to the Indian subcontinent and has various forms such as suzhi kolam, pulli (Dot) kolam, free hand kolam etc.
This year Sapthavara Creations is launching our first ever Kolothsavam - a treat for the Rangoli lovers all over the world. We are joining hands with British Indian Tamil Radio and inviting you to participate in the Margazhi Special event on 19/12/20.
