INTRO

This kolam I had put on the day of Tamil month “Thai” 1st. Which is famous as pongal festival. A salute to all farmers and their families for their hardwork and Hope this month brings them prosperity and love in abundance.

Margazhi month is mainly dedicated for bhakthi and arts .. to inspire the present generation kids, everything needs to be conveyed in an attractive manner. One of such effort is this kolam showing padham in all
Directions and in center swastik with lotus flowers. Bhakthi and importance of our culture needs to be transcended to the next generation as much as possible. Hope these kolams and such competitions helps in extending our culture to everyone around us.

Padi kolam is always unique as the way it gets connected gives a beautiful look to the kolam. this is the traditional type and this is still in vogue and will always be..

I enjoy doing Kolams and inspecific, I like trying new designs which is nothing but Freehand Rangolis... I do this religiously everyday and most of the days I do freehand Rangolis and on other days, it will be padi kolams.. Any sort of kolam spreads lot of positive energy and I do feel this everyday, which makes me to do more always.. today I have tried to draw a peacock which is known for its beautiful colours. With colours, its so attractive and interesting to draw...
