Dear Saptha Varna Creations,
Residing in Bengaluru, a family of four- R. Nagendra Prasad, Saritha N. Prasad and two daughters Yashaswini and Apoorva - proudly continue our 20 year tradition of arranging vibrant Golu dolls, weaving a tapestry of heritage and harmony in our home, every Dasara. We chose the theme - " Fusion of Heritage and Hollywood: Golu Dolls Reimagined".
At the center, Lord Vishnu's divine grace and his Dashavatara shine. Exquisite dasara procession, wedding dolls, Lord Vishwakarma set, Ashtalakshmis, Sathyanarayana pooje, Mysore painting style Navadurga and many more add grandeur. A delicate handmade Saraswati doll and handcrafted miniature Navadurgas take center stage. All this covers the "Heritage" part of the theme.
Coming to the "Fusion" part, a Hagrid's Hut from the beloved "Harry Potter" movies is created from cardboard, wall joint powder, discarded coffee granules, windows made from cookie container, astonishes beside a charming "Hobbit Hole" from "The Lord of The Rings" movies, sculpted from clay, cardboard, icecream sticks for door, coloured saw dust for grass and flowers, a small barrel, miniature tree made from grape stalk are fitted inside an empty cake box. A cozy library made with icecream sticks is stacked with nearly 200 books, complements miniature board games like lego sets, monopoly, dominos and a fireplace made with a discarded dhoopam box, complete this vibrant celebration of artistry and imagination.
