Golu - a unique festival of dolls.
As the festive days give us another chance to celebrate with our friends and family, our Golu, this year, focuses on "Back to the roots." This is a portrayal of a typical day in a south Indian village.
Our village has lush green agricultural lands, villagers celebrating the festival of Pongal near a temple sitting on top of a mountain, ladies playing games and chit-chatting outside their homes. In fact, with hand-made houses, beds and cow sheds, we have tried to make one feel nostalgic by taking them back to the calm and relaxed village life.
To give our Golu a holistic picture, we have also portrayed the "Krishna Leela" - A depiction of Lord Krishna's life. In our Krishna Leela, we have tried and captured the life of Lord Krishna in detail- be it Vasudev carrying Lord Krishna across the Yamuna River, or Lord Krishna just taking a stroll through the gardens with his Gopikas.
These depictions are complemented and overarched with an eclectic mix of deities who will be our shining light and who will bestow their blessings upon us at all times.
