We have been practicing this tradition of keeping golu from past 3 generations. After 3-4 years, we have been able to celebrate the festivals with great enthusiasm. This time Golu has been displayed full fledged. The theme is "Glimpse of the World". We have tried to follow the traditional model
- first step as "Tridevis and Shiva Parivaar
-Second and Third Steps - Avatars- Vishnu Dashavatarams,
-Ashtalakshmi,
Fourth and Fifth Steps : other God like Lord Ganesha - as Doctor, with his wifes -Riddi and Siddhi and the scene of Ganesha Bojanam.
Then , comes Lord Krishna's leela, right from his birth, ,as a nathkath toddler, Makan chor, Murlidar, Raaslila and as Panduranga.
Further, Sixth step : we have Gurus like Guru Nanak, Gautam Buddha, Sai Baba and buddist Monks.
This is followed by the humans in seventh step . They include Chettiyar chettichi, Cartoons- Bal Hanuman, Hatori and Doremmon.

To keep up the interest of Children and to increase their creativity, we have included :

1. Goddess Gaj Lakshmi : I have wrapped Saree on the Vallaku to depict the Amman. I have added the different props like elephants, coins. The coins are actually chocolates. These were presented to kids as a token of gift.
2. Village : Furfuri Nagar. It is inspired by children's cartoon Motu Patlu
It includes Jungle, Park, Marriage Ceremony and a Market.

We have invited people for tamboolam. We tried to upraise all kids about our Hindu culture, different God, related stories etc. The discussions were made interactive and also asked questions. Th Coin chocolates were given to kids as a token of gift.
