There is the main seven step golu on which are displayed traditional dolls made of mud ,wood and porcelain.
Dolls that are common to almost every golu display are those of God's and goddesses, the Dashavatar and the marpachis.
Also on display are cooking utensils in steel, stone, brass and bell metal.
The brass and bell metal ones are over 90 years old.
The dolls and other items have been collected by me over a period of 45 years.
The sideshows depict two themes.
1.Performing arts like puppetry, music and dance.
2.People engaged in everyday albeit specialized occupations like the cobbler, blacksmith, the umbrella repairman ,the potter, the basket weaver etc.
