INTRO

I am Subhadra from Mumbai, India. I have been keeping Golu for the last 31 years. Apart from the traditional Golu steps I have been creating themes every year. This year the theme is Navavidha Bhakti or the Nine paths of devotion as narrated by Prahlada: Shravanam Keertanam Smaranam Padasevanam Vandanam Dasyam Sakhyam Archanam and Atma nivedanam. The display shows one example of each of the above. The display is made using traditional dolls as well as dolls handmade by me.I have recycled boxes, containers, and other materials to make the pillars chariot the fountain and other structures
