We have been exhibiting GOLU for over 23 years. It has been one of our main festivities every year giving us a sense of spirituality and happiness. Every year we will have a main GOLU with simple 7 steps accompanied by small artistic project exhibits. This year we decided to try something totally different to make it more interesting and kindle the curiosity of the visitors that we have every year. We came up with the idea of replicating a temple Gopuram inspired from temples in Tamil Nadu. The Gopuram was built out of plywood and each story of it was filled with Golu Dolls. The walls of the Gopuram were covered with black & white printed sculptures and rugged stone wallpaper giving the Gopuram a stone sculpted temple structure look. To enhance the dolls and the shape of the Gopuram, simple LED string lights were run all around the structure. So much love and effort went into the building of this Gopuram themed Golu.
