INTRO

This year side golu theme is Kedarnath Darshan entire scenery handmade, I have depicted the holy pilgrimage temple handmade with cardboard at Kedarnath along with Lord Shiva golu dolls. There is also another side theme, Garuda Sevai procession coming through an Agraharam, all hand made with cardboard. There is also a farming village outside of the Agraharam, some of the depictions are handmade.
Main golu and another side golu steps depicting various scenes from Holy Epics Ramayana and Mahabharata. Narada reciting Samkshepa Ramayana to Sage Valmiki and Sita speaking to King Ravana holding a single blade of Dhruva grass while Hanuman in tiny form watching over the scene from the Ashoka Vanam trees.These were hand painted wooden peg dolls. Side Golu depicts divine power of Devi's as Shakti Swaroopam. I have crocheted baby Ganesha for Golu as well.
