INTRO

We have been keeping golu since last 40 years. So it has been from my grandmother's to my mother and this time was me. We have the traditional of adding a new doll every year and this year I was luck yto get Meenakshi Amman when I made a short trip to Chennai for a wedding. In the side We kept Adi Shankaracharya as the theme. He travelled on foot from Kaladi to Badrinath and took samadhi at the age of 32. The various miracles in his life like the crocodile episode, the shower of gold gooseberries etc have been tried to be depicted. His teachings of Advaita Vedanta and Sanatana Dharma were highlighted our learning.
