INTRO

I have been keeping golu for the past 15 years. I totally rejoice the creativity fest that defines the whole golu keeping process. The whole family gets involved and everyone has something to always add!

This year my theme is to draw comparisons. The idea is to portray differences in expressions that still unite in their ideologies. For this:
a) Have arranged two religious processions - The Jagannatha Puri to portray north Indian representation and the Mysore Dussera to show the south Indian way.

b) Contrasting display in knowledge transfer through centuries in India- The Mahabharatha writing, Discussion between Guru and Shishyas, and the modern day classroom style.

c) Transcending religion- The golu is pure creativity. Mother Mary and Mata Saraswati share the same space in representing that although both are prayed to in different ways, they mean the same.
