INTRO

I am Jaisri Arunachalam from Chennai keeping Golu for more than 19 years. Apart from traditional seven step Golu with kalasam, we used to depict various stories from hindu mythology. Our golu has won various prizes conducted by various NGOs and Associations. This is the straight third year that we participate in TOI chanceyilla Golu contest. This year our theme is 'Egan Anegan'- about Lord Shiva. We have depicted - Pancha gunamurthy, Shiva Symbolism, Pancha sabai, Panchabootha Sthalam, Pancha Utsavam, Jyotir Lingam, Pancha Avataram. Our goal is to encourage people to know the treasured stories from Hindu mythology.
