Namasthe. We J. G. Hindu Vidyalaya Matric. Hr. Sec. School, West Mambalam Chennai, have been celebrating Navarathri for over 3 decades. These magnificent dolls have been collected meticulously by our General Secretary Dr. Smt. Girija Seshadri Madam. This year, marks the 75th Independence day celebration - Barat Ki Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. Hence our school has taken up the Theme - "Aaduvome Pallu paaduvome", in celebration of Amritotsav of our glorious motherland Barat. Our students have highlighted the important Freedom movements and the unsung heroes of our freedom movement. The activities carried out by the School - distribution of National Flag to all the students and staff, as a part of Hon'ble Prime Minister's Har Gar Tiranga Programme, the rally around our locality - West Mambalam, has also been beautifully showcased by our students in the golu. Altogether, along with the celebration of our tradition with the main golu, our theme this year, has come out as yet another celebration of the glorious Independence. On every day of Navaratri, our students, parents and special invitees of our locality are invited for the pooja and given thamboolam.
