Hi, i am Dharani from Tambaram ( Chennai). From the year 2000 me and my sister are keeping golu together. After my kids grown up we decided to keep golu separately and this is my 5th year of Golu. It's a dream for me to keep the handmade items in our golu. Our whole family enjoys golu festival as all of us like to contribute for golu decoration. I have done the dolls and temples with the help of my kids. This year we did Tirupathi Golden Gopuram, Kedarnath temple, Odisa Ratha from cardboard and Puri Jaganthar, balaram and subhadra from clay. We kept Hand painted kalamkari durga, lakshmi and saraswathi. Handpainted Andal and handmade Quilling Andal and devotee dolls. Handmade quilling Durga Pandal.
In beach except dolls all other things were did by us with clay and leftover plywoods.
Brass collections is a dream come true. As we collected the statues from different temple visits like, Tirupathi, Pazhani, Rameshwaram and Madurai. Hope you like our golu.
