INTRO

This is my 10th year golu after marriage. This year our golu theme was based on Ganesha, different forms of him in different cities and small stories of Bal Ganesha. There’s a usual classic golu with our traditional way of keeping gods starting from the Muperum Devi ( Durga, Lakshmi, Saraswati). Celebrating Golu is also been mainly because of my daughter, who we see as different forms of Durga. She is also eagerly waiting to dress up as Navadurga(different color pattu pavadais), during the entire span of Golu.
This year was more special cause my Mother in law was here with us celebrating the festivities. She made in all efforts to make the event grand with her kolams, especially the Navadhanyam Ganesha Kolam.
Making Sundal naivedayam everyday, meeting all my friends and sharing in the complete experience of our world of Golu.
This year the golu padis were beautifully manufactured by my engineer husband.
