Chinese Veggie rings
In a bowl add 1/2 cup of semolina , water and salt . Mix and knead until you get a smooth dough . Set it aside for 1 hour.
Pinch out a small ball from the dough , roll it between your hands and make rings .
Steam these rings for 10-15 mins.
Meanwhile ....
In a wok , add chilli oil , once hot , add finely chopped carrots , beans , cabbage .Sauté until crunchy and cooked .
Now add capsicum and cook for further couple of minutes .
Add a spoon of schezwan sauce at this point and give it a stir.
When the semolina rings are done , take them out from the steamer and add to the vegetable mixture.
(My chilli oil and schezwan sauce are home made )
Garnish with spring onions and Serve hot !
Ingredients
1. Mixed veggies 1/4 cup each of carrot , beans , capsicum , cabbage and spring onion to garnish.
2. Chilli oil
3. Schezwan sauce
4. Semolina 1/2 cup.
5.salt to taste .

Protein vadai
Soak peanuts , urid dhal , millets and rice in separate bowls overnight. Drain all the water and grind them one by one adding very less water . The batter should be thick like vadai batter.
Add freshly ground /grated ginger , pepper powder and finely chopped curry leaves to the batter along with salt.
Now take a shallow pan , add few spoons of gingelly oil . Once hot , pour a small ladle full of batter and spread it gently on the pan. Reduce the heat and cook in medium low until cooked . Flip over and cook the other side too.
Yummy protein vadai ready !
This can be served plain or with any dip. I served with Zucchini chutney :)
Ingredients
1.1/2 cup peanuts.
2. 1/2 cup whole black urid dhal.
3.1 cup any millet of your choice
4. 1/2 cup basmati rice.
5. Coarse ground pepper depending on spice level
6. Freshly grated ginger
7.Curry leaves
8.Salt to taste
9.Gingelly oil to shallow fry.

Moringa Soup
1. Cook 1 cup of moringa leaves with 1/2 cup fermented rice water , small onion , red chillies .
2.Soak the poppy seeds in water for 30 mins and grind to a fine paste with coconut and pepper.
3. Add the paste and salt to the cooked leaves , boil for 5 mins and switch off.
This can be had as a soup or mixed with rice .

Moringa leaves , fermented rice water , coconut , poppy seeds , pepper , small onion , red chillies.
